Upfront payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. If no payment is received within 48 hours, your appointment may be cancelled.

Rescheduling or cancelling

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment time. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for any schedule changes or cancellations. If you reschedule your appointment, your payment will be transferred over to your future booking. If you are unable to reschedule, please contact me at least 24 hours before your appointment. If 24 hours’ cancellation notice isn’t given, you will be charged 50% of the service fee for the missed session.

Gift vouchers

Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date purchased. Vouchers are non-refundable. Please ensure that the location of the treatment is within In Touch’s working area (see map on services page) and the location is accessible. Refunds cannot be issued where these criteria are not met.

Information held

In order to provide quality care, treatment and aftercare support, In Touch needs to ask for and keep information about you. In Touch will not use this information for any other purpose (except as required for legal or safeguarding purposes) without your prior consent. The information to be held is:

  • Your contact details
  • Information about your health
  • Details of your appointment
  • Record of any other contact with you

All information is kept for 7 years as required by UK law
     

Data Security

In Touch is committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place appropriate technical and physical procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected from you.

GDPR

GDPR gives you the following rights:

• To be informed: To know how your information will be held and used


• To have access: To see our records of your personal information, so you know what is held about you and can verify it.


• To rectify: To tell us to make changes to your personal information if it is incorrect or incomplete.


• To request erasure: To request that information held about you is erased if you ask for it not be held anymore.


• To restrict: To request limits on how we use your personal information.


• The right to data portability: Under certain circumstances you can request a copy of personal information held electronically so you can reuse it in other systems.


• The right to object: To request that certain parts of your information is not used, or only used for certain purposes.

• Rights in relation to automated decision-making and profiling: No such system is used by In Touch.

• The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office: To be able to complain if you feel any of the above are not being complied with.

Safeguarding

In Touch acknowledges the duty of care to safeguard, protect and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. If any safeguarding concerns arise during your engagement with In Touch, these will be escalated in line with local procedures. In Touch is committed to ensuring safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and complies with best practice.
